While each game from 1 through 8 gets harder, careful understanding of tic-tac-toe can have you win each time. Play well and the worst a player can do is come in a tie. Play very well and win.

A-Team Your mission is to guide the A-Team through two dangerous missions.

The first mission will have you travel to the Morania desert in order to reduce a dangerous group of terrorists.

The second one mission has you out to destroy a military base located in Tirania. Be cautious as there is an invasion coming from the neighbouring countries.

Use your N-16 A2 rifle to defeat your enemies. Sometimes you will see dynamite charges deposited in the ground; an accurate firing on them will end with every object or person on the screen. Also you will be able to shoot to boats, which will provide you an extra dose of energy.

Advanced Dungeons adn Dragons: Treasure of Tarim This was one of the first 3D for the Intellivision platform. It is a mix between a maze game and a role playing game. The game features hidden doors, magical weapons and a versatile inventory

It also featured up to 256 randomly-generated levels of the maze where you'll fight real-time battles against increasingly fierce creatures until you reach the Minotaur's lair, where he guards the Treasure of Tarmin.

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons You control a three person party equipped with three arrows a piece, though more are arrows can be found on your quest.

Your quest takes you over the land of Cloudy Mountain and explore caves with many enemies that try to stop your progress. Four difficulty levels keep the game fresh and challenging for pros or amateurs.

Adventure Adventure is considered by many to be the first action-adventure game and was inspired by a text game, Colossal Cave Adventure.

Atari management, however, did not believe that an action-adventure game was viable, yet the game went to sell one million copies and was one of Atari's top games ever made for the 2600 console.

Warren Robinett included a hidden message in the game identifying himself as the game's creator. This was significant as Atari did not give credit to its game developers.

A sequel to Adventure was announced in early 1982 but was abandonded in place of Swordquest game series.

Air Sea Battle Games end after 2 minutes, 16 seconds of play, or when either player scores 99 points.

The score will flash in the last 16 seconds to show that the game is nearing the end. Point scoring for each game is noted in that game's instruction.

The Difficulty switches on the Atari Video Computer System console controls the size of the missile. In Position "A" the missile is one-fourth the size of position "B".

With time running out for you and your crew, and with the onboard torpedoes shaken loose by an eerie current from deep under the sea floor, you alone must decide whether you sink or swim!

The objective of AIRLOCK is to retrieve the hatch keys and make your way to the next level before your compartment floods. Like any good game, there is always a wrinkle in the works. In Airlock, you must avoid the torpedoes that have been shaken loose and which, when they cross your path, rob you of precious time.

Alfred Challenge The joystick control is awkward and the reaction time slow. The game features ladders to go up and down. And ropes which you can only slide down non-stop.

Alfred, looks like Humpty Dumpty. There are two different types of monsters which travel at different speeds just to make it interesting. There are disappearing floor sections that you must cross whenever you can. The game is very similar to the board game snakes and ladders.

History note:

This game was sold in a limited edition of 100 copies that included a box and full color manual. It quickly sold out, but you may still purchase the standard edition from Best Electronics (no box included). This is a good, but very difficult game. Ebivision also held a contest involving this game, in which the first person to discover the secret room would win a mystery game from Ebivision. The winner was Jeff Rothkopf, and he won a copy of Ebivision?s version of Pac-man, a much better version of the Namco coin-op. Ebivision never released Pac-man to the public due to copyright reasons.

Amidar In Amidar you are a gorilla in a maze pursued by lots of wild warriors!

The gorilla wants to colour in the maze and the warriors want to do in the gorilla. It's a simple concept, too bad everyone can't get along, but then again, we would not have a gam would we?

Keep the gorilla ahead of the patrolling pack while you guide him on his colouring spree through the maze. If successful, you will instantly become a paint roller pursued by patrolling pigs in another fast race. It almost sounds like a bad dream in candyland.

Essentially, the object of the game is to colour each maze and avoid those trying to do you in. Don't forget to collect the points along the way.

Amour Ambush Each player commands a tank bent on destroying the other player's tank.

The battlefields contstantly change, so no battle is ever the same. Tanks move at average speed on grass, fast on roads, slow through trees, and slowest through water.

Tanks will explode after three direct hits. The Harder game mode adds ricochet shots.

Did You Know?

Did you know that Sega's last video game console was the Sega Dreamcast? The console sold over 10 million units but was killed off shortly after it was released. Sega was losing money on the unit and feared that things would get worse with the entry of Microsoft in the market. It was discontinued in March, 2001.
